Anyone else been on a smoothie craze lately? We have been enjoying smoothies for breakfast, post-workout, mid-afternoon snack and more. Mm-mmm. A few of our latest smoothies include our Immunity Booster Smoothie, Mixed Berry Smoothie, Detox Blast Smoothie, and an all-time favourite Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie.

We recently gave this chocolate banana smoothie a test, as per abiteofvegan's recipe. Oh my, it was delicious. It treats you to a delicious dose of chocolate with just a hint of banana. The good news is that it is simple and easy to make. Realistically, you could whip this up in your Vitamer in less that 60 seconds.

Ingredients to Make the Tastiest Chocolate Smoothie

To make this delicious chocolate smoothie you will need a few things:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk - abiteofvegan used almond milk
  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup ice

A few additional extras for you to 'make it your own':

  • Protein powder
  • Honey
  • Whipped cream if you are the dairy type and need that sweet tooth satisfied
